Hi there, and welcome to my corner of the internet. Thank you for being here, and for giving me a few minutes of your time.
I’m Muath Taha. I started my career on wellsites in Oman as a wireline field engineer. Over fourteen years at SLB, the work moved from the field to remote operations, then to people and workforce planning, and now to enterprise digital performance. Somewhere along the way I learned that the hardest engineering problems are rarely about the technology. They are about people, data, and the decisions in between.
That is what this site is for. I write about the things that actually work, and the things that broke on the way: AI, HR and workforce analytics, and the products I build on the side. The good experiences and the bad ones, shared in the hope that they help you see your own path in work, life, and whatever comes between.
Not sure where to start? Essays hold the longer pieces, and Notes the quicker thoughts. Work tells the fuller story of where I have been, Projects shows what I am building now, and Books is what I am reading and why.
